I bought these boots basically out of frustration. Two years ago I spent an entire week trying to track down a decent pair of good looking boots. I tried every store withing 50 miles of my house and couldn’t find a pair that wasn’t $200 or more that was warm, comfortable, and stylish. I ended up with a cheap pair of faux leather boots that fell apart after only one winter.
After moving to a very cold town that gets crazy amounts of snow I figured I’d take my search online for boots and worse comes to worse, I return my purchase and only loose a little money, probably less than the gas it would take to go back and forth to stores. I searched for a few hours, got frustrated and finally decided to take my search to amazon.com, where I get nearly everything electronic that I buy.
I found this pair and I got them super fast! They are the most comfortable boots I have ever put on, they are even better than some of the $200 pairs I tried at high end stores. I was a little worried about the way the shaft of the boot would fit though. I have very athletic legs with tiny little ankles, and the laces make it so you can custom fit the boot any way you need! I’m usually between a size 9 and a size 10, so I bought the size 9 because usually boots run a little large. These boots run VERY large. If you are just under a size go at least 1 size smaller. I was a little worried about the 2.5″ heel, but if you wear heels on a somewhat regular occasion, you don’t even notice them, it’s very easy on the foot, extremely well designed wedge! The bottom of the boots don’t look like they’d provide a lot of traction, but I was walking on solid ice with them and didn’t skid once. My only suggestion is that after walking on snow, knock the snow and ice off before trying to walk inside on a tile floor. I nearly fell the first time I walked into my class building from outside! The snow accumulates in the ridges, giving you the traction outside, but terrible inside.
If you are like me and are unsure whether or not you can find a boot that will fit your oddly shaped calf, this is definitely for you! If not this specific one, find one with real laces and a zipper side.

I just bought these boots (and they shipped ridiculously FAST). They are fabulous. I really couldn’t care less that they are vegan-friendly. What I DO care about is that these boots will fit everyone! If you have scrawny little legs, then you can tighten the laces. If you have teeny ankles and freakishly muscular calves, these are for you! If you’re a bigger gal all around, you don’t have to worry about trying to shove your calves in the teeny, tiny little hole. Or even if you’re simply trying to find a reasonably priced pair of boots you can stuff your jeans into so the bottoms don’t collect tiny snowballs. I also love the zipper on the side, so once you get your laces done up the way you want them, you can just zip in and out of them (a particularly handy feature if you are coming in and out of the snow). I don’t know if they are water resistant yet, but I plan to scotch-guard them (as I do with even my water-proof shoes). I am SO excited!

These boots are really cool. I’m not a vegan, but I can still appreciate the fact that they’re made of animal-friendly materials. They have a nice heel that gives some lift, but doesn’t make you feel like you’re teetering. They also zip up on the inside which is cool, because until I got them, I was thinking I’d have to lace them up every time I wanted to wear them. They are comfy and stylish, although I’m not sure about their ability to hold up in rain/snow. I got them in brown, thinking they would be more of a dark chestnut color (I was thinking along the lines of the color of Uggs or something) but they actually are like a chocolate BROWN color (duh…) Overall I’m satisfied with this purchase!

Just got these boots today in dark brown….wow delivered earlier then excepted..so excited….I just took them outta the box and tried them on…OH LOVE them!!!!! I got a 5.5size in size and seems to run true to size some boots I do order in size 6…..they feel warm and comfortable….taken them with me when I move to Alaska….thanks Amazon..love them :~)

BEFORE ORDERING THESE BOOTS, I FIRST TOOK THE TIME TO READ THE REVIEWS. SO HERE’S WHAT I’VE GOT TO SAY, THE SHIPPING IS EXCELLENT! I GOT THE BOOTS WITHIN DAYS FROM WHEN I PURCHASED IT ONLINE. THEY ARE EASY TO ADJUST TO FIT MY MUCH LARGER CALVES BY ADJUSTING THE LACES AND THE STRAP ON TOP, FINDING IT VERY ACCESSIBLE GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE BOOTS AFTER. I FOUND THEM TO BE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND THEY KEEP MY LEGS AND FEET WARM. ALOT OF PEOPLE NOTICED THEM RIGHT AWAY AND I RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS AND PEOPLE ASKED ME WHERE THEY COULD BUY ONE. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THE FACT THAT I DO WEAR A SIZE 10 SHOE AND THOUGHT THAT THESE BOOTS WOULD FIT JUST RIGHT, BUT THEY WERE A BIT BIGGER AND MY FEET SLIDES TO THE FRONT OF THE BOOTS WHEN I WALK WHICH IS AGGRAVATING. I AM PLANNING TO BUY ME A BLACK OR TAN BOOTS THOUGH IN A SIZE 9 HOPING IT’LL BE A MUCH PERFECT FIT. OTHER THAN THAT, I AM SATISFIED AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THESE BOOTS UNTIL A SIZE 9 BECOMES AVAILABLE IN TAN OR BLACK.
