Kathryn Kerrigan Maria Mary Jane Pump

I bought these shoes for swing dancing. They have a slight vintage look and the leather sole was a must. I danced all night and my feet felt fine.
I love these shoes. I got them to wear with my new year’s eve dress and they go perfect with them. The only problem I will say is the ordering. This was the 2nd pair I received that I ordered. The 1st pair I ordered, I went according to the US sizes that were stated. Those sizes are WRONG. When ordering this shoe, please go by the Euro sizes instead. If you’re not sure on your euro sizes, go to [...] The sizes they list are 100% accurate.
Happy Shopping!!!
These shoes are really cute. So much so that I purchased them in both red and black. And now to the trouble . . .
Surprisingly these shoes run at least two sizes small. I purchased my normal size and was astonished by how far they were from fitting correctly. I believe that my feet are true to size. I re-ordered two sizes up to get a correct fit.
I have excellent sizing results from brands such as Donald J. Pliner, Stuart Weitzman, Bolo, Born and Joy Chen. Given the story of how this brand was developed I was particularly puzzled by the ill-fit.
Upon return I was charged a 15% restocking fee because Amazon considers fit the consumer’s responsibility. The shoes were on sale at clearance ($104) which made the cost of return shipping and the restocking fee somewhat less painful.
The second disappointment is the quality. I was stunned by the lack of quality in the construction at the original retail. Had I paid retail I would have been exceedingly disappointed with the quality (unmatched seams, gaps, materials used). On one of my shoes the strap is sewn on upside down (the fold is at the bottom and the cut side is at the top). This seems to be indicative of very poor quality control. At normal retail these shoes are classed with some of the brands mentioned earlier while falling very far from the quality those brands deliver. I am not sure that even at $104 the quality is appropriate to the price.
Although I would like to support this brand due to the story behind its development I cannot do so.
