It goes to just below my knee and slouches just right. I don't have to pull it up at all because the inside is supported well. I bought them a 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe and I'm glad I did. They are comfortable and I can wear them with regular dress socks or thicker socks. The suede is really soft, and teh buckles look just like they do in the picture. Great shoe!
